petasites Hybridus

Petasites hybridus plant extract, known as butterbur, has been used for years to prevent migraine headaches. Studies show it is effective at reducing the frequency of migraines. Experts are not sure what causes migraines or how butterbur helps to prevent them. But some research suggests that it may prevent swelling and relieve pressure on the blood vessels. Another theory is that it may affect calcium channels, which experts also believe may be related to migraines. More research is needed to find out how butterbur helps prevent migraines.

Hovenia Dulcis

Hovenia dulcis (Japanese Raisin Tree) is a source of dihydromyricetin (Ampelopsin) and has traditionally been used as an anti-alcohol herb and hangover cure. At least one human study has noted that, when taken before drinking, it can reduce circulating levels of alcohol.

Salix Alba (White Willow) Extract

White willow is the original or natural Aspirin, and has nearly the same indications as its synthetic counterpart. Where these two compounds differ though, is that white willow tends to be milder on the stomach lining than synthetic Aspirin and has a reduced anticoagulant action.

This herb has been used for millennia for natural pain relief, reducing fever and inflammation, and recent studies are proving the traditional indications of white willow to be correct.

Thiamin Hydrochloride - optimized - border.png

Thiamine Hydrochloride

Thiamine, thiamin or vitamin B1, named as the “thio-vitamine” is a vitamin of the B complex. First named aneurin for the detrimental neurological effects if not present in the diet, it was eventually assigned the generic descriptor name vitamin B1. Its phosphate derivatives are involved in many cellular processes. The best-characterized form is thiamine pyrophosphate, a coenzyme in the catabolism of sugars and amino acids.

Pyridoxine Hydrochloride - optimized - border.png

Pyridoxine Hydrochloride

Pyridoxine is one form of vitamin B6. Its hydrochloride salt, Pyridoxine hydrochloride, is used as a vitamin B6 dietary supplement.  Pyridoxine (vitamin B6) is used to prevent or treat low levels of vitamin B6 in people who do not get enough of the vitamin from their diets. Most people who eat a normal diet do not need extra vitamin B6. However, some conditions (such as alcoholism, liver disease, overactive thyroid, heart failure) or medications (such as isoniazid, cycloserine, hydralazine, penicillamine) can cause low levels of vitamin B6.

L-Cysteine - Optimized - border.png

L-cysteine supports the synthesis of the highly antioxidative Glutathione and can also be stored in this chemical form. It therefore plays an important part in detoxification and the resulting protection of several tissues and organs.

Amiloride - optimized - border.png

*Amiloride Binding Protein 1

Amiloride and structurally related compounds inhibit many transport proteins, enzymes, and drug or hormone receptors.

*Amiloride Binding Protein 1 should now read by the DSHEA allowed name of :

Porcine Kidney Protein Extract[providing approximately 7% Diamine Oxidase Enzyme].

A binding protein is any protein that acts as an agent to bind two or more molecules together.

The Porcine Kidney Protein Extract is an “Amiloride Binding Protein”.
